With a presence throughout the Americas, Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, the Odebrecht Organization engages in diverse industries that create energized and sustainable economies. The Odebrecht Organization serves a variety of sectors including: sugar, ethanol, and bioenergy; oil and gas; transportation and logistics; and environmental engineering among others. The Odebrecht Award for Sustainable Development helps bridge the gap between the academic and corporate worlds, and find solutions that promote sustainability via the transfer and application of technology into the operational practice of business. The Odebrecht Award for Sustainable Development is designed to stimulate contributions toward sustainable development for the benefit of engineering, construction, chemical, and petrochemical organizations; the academic community; and society as a whole. Since it’s inception in 2012, projects have explored innovative practices, methods and ideas that have been implemented in a variety of real-world ventures.
Think it First partnered with the Odebrecht organization to develop a complete suite of branding materials and an international web presence for the Sustainable Development Award and its constituents. Calling on some of the most prestigious universities in the world, and their brightest minds, our approach was one of prestige, yet intrigue. We used the latest tactics in responsive design to create a truly scalable experience, since it was mostly students (read: iphones) accessing and submitting ideas and applications through the website. The site serves as the hub for information, guidelines, and a winning showcase for the award and its history.
Think it First also developed an 18 page die-cut brochure, printed on Polypropelyne plastic paper for the 2016 Award Ceremony held in Miami.
